Two-Prong Sales Approach: Success!
On the backs of our successful conferences in June, our July sales month was a success!
🧗🏽♂️ Challenge: Landing a major utility is worth millions of dollars, and it secures them as customers for several years, but to win them takes time.
💡Solution: We are taking a two-pronged approach to sales.
Large Utilities = RFP: We have utilized our teams’ connections and the goodwill FlexCharging has built in the market to be short-listed for large utility RFPs. Many of these are invite-only, which is already creating separation from our competitors in that process.
Member Owned and Co-op Utilities = Direct Sales: The maturity of our platform, and our self-serve native apps, allow us to sign and onboard thousands of medium and small utilities much more easily and more affordably than our competitors.
#1 is moving faster than expected. We have submitted 3 Proposals, with our first response scheduled for next month, and many more to come before year’s end. Each of these is large enough to grow our revenue between 2 - 10x!
🙌 Success: #2 has landed its first win! We are in contracting and have a tentative launch date of September. I will make a formal announcement once the contract is executed.
